Improver’s Bridge
New Improvers Bridge course starts Wed 17th April 2024 from 3.45 – 5.45pm for 10 weeks
This course assumes a basic knowledge of bridge, so is suitable for Improvers, or for those rusty players who would like a refresher of the basics.
The course includes theoretical lessons, updates and consolidations on bidding and play, and plenty of practical experience playing hands at the table.
Intermediate Bridge
Intermediate Bridge course starts on Wed 17th April 2024 from 1.15 – 3.15pm for 10 weeks
Our Intermediate course is for those who can already play bridge. The course is ten weeks long and the lessons will comprise a mixture of a theoretical teaching and a chance to play and practice the skills learned with specially prepared deals. Also included are consolidations and supervised play practice.
All our courses include very friendly people, so a chance to make new friends too!
Bridge lessons will be fun and stress free!
Cost: Each course costs £130 per 10 week term (including half term break) payable in advance. Contact us to book a place.

Supervised Play July and August 2024
During these two months, we will run Supervised Play at Quaker House from 3pm to 5.30pm every Wednesday afternoon. You can just drop in whenever you wish!
£10 per person. Bridge teachers on hand to ask questions as you play.
Beginners’ lessons July and August 2024
During these two months, we will also run Beginners Lessons at Quaker House from 1.30pm to 3.30pm every Wednesday afternoon. You can just drop in whenever you wish! Cost: £15 per session.
Come along with your friends to enjoy a pleasant afternoon! Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available!
